Teenager banned from Barton Hill
A teenager who was part of a gang which made the lives of people living in part of Bristol a misery has been banned from the area.

Cameron Tovey, 17, has been made the subject of an anti-social behaviour order (ASBO) prohibiting him from entering Barton Hill for two years.

Under the order, Tovey is forbidden from throwing gravel and rocks at people or spitting at them.

He is banned from verbally abusing people or using threatening behaviour.

The teenager will only be allowed into Barton Hill when accompanied by his mother, father, father's girlfriend or a member of the Bristol Youth Inclusion Project.

Kathryn Perks, ASBO coordinator for central Bristol, said: "We are taking this issue seriously - this is one of many other similar ASBOs which we will be considering.

"It is positive for the area and for Cameron because it gives him an opportunity to improve his behaviour."
