Bids in for Beckham quilt
The quilt
The quilt took eight months to put together
Fancy sleeping under David Beckham, Terry Wogan and Michael Palin all at the same time?

A king-sized quilt signed by these luminaries - and 35 others - is up for auction on eBay to raise funds for charity.

The celebrities have all autographed individual patches on a seven-foot-square quilt put together by a patchwork class in Bristol.

Other celebrity autographs
Steffi Graf
Nigella Lawson
Gloria Hunniford
Frank Bruno
Alan Rickman
Jilly Cooper

The group spent eight months making the quilt, and is now selling it to the highest bidder.

Money raised will go to the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and Southmead Hospital.

Peter Watson, local area organiser for the BHF, said: "David Beckham's signature alone should attract the attention of a lot of generous bidders - maybe from as far away as Madrid."

Bidding runs until 25 August.
