A young woman was indecently assaulted in a taxi in the Downend area of Bristol in the early hours of Sunday. The 19-year-old woman had taken the taxi home after an evening out with friends in Kingswood.
She had shared the cab with two women she met while waiting outside Chasers night club.
The victim was alone in the cab for the last part of her journey after the other two women got out in the Soundwell area at between 0230 and 0315 BST.
White man
The woman was then assaulted in the vehicle before escaping. She ran to her home where police were called.
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police said officers were keen to trace the two other women - both were aged about 19, he said.
The car was described as a dark-coloured Renault Espace with a yellow illuminated Taxi sign on its roof.
The driver was a white man who was said to be aged between 50 and 60, of large build with short grey hair. He wore glasses with square shaped, thick rims.
