Man arrested over cannabis haul
Cannabis plants
A man was arrested following the discovery
Police seized drugs and equipment worth several thousands of pounds in a raid on Friday morning in the Kingswood area of Bristol.

Officers found several large cannabis plants growing, others harvested and being processed as well as a sophisticated system of cultivation equipment, at a house in Pettigrove Road.

A police spokesman said they were acting on information received from a member of the local community.

A 44-year-man was arrested at the house and was in police custody on Friday afternoon.

Inspector Keith Farrow said: "This is one of the biggest hauls of cannabis cultivation equipment in the area for some time.

"It shows the value of information from the community.

"We will continue to act on such information, but people must understand that it can take time to get everything in place to ensure results such as this."
