Stars out for Bollywood premiere
A cinema in West Yorkshire has played host to the world premiere of new Bollywood thriller The Train.

Some of the biggest stars of Indian cinema arrived in Castleford on Thursday to see the film, starring Emraan Hashmi and Geeta Basra.

The town's Cineworld is also showing 22 classic Indian films from Friday, to coincide with Saturday's Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards in Sheffield.

Amitabh Bachchan and Shilpa Shetty were among the stars at the event.

The awards will be broadcast to a global audience of nearly 500 million.

Arriving in York on Thursday, Mr Bachchan said: "There's a very large Indian and Asian community in this part of the country.

"The love and affection and attention we get from the locals is not just surprising but very wonderful."
