A third cannabis factory has been shut down in a Berkshire town this week. Thames Valley Police discovered more than 300 plants at a house in Upper Redlands Road in Reading, after a tip-off from the community.
When they entered the rented property they found much of the vegetation had been converted to the cultivation of cannabis under artificial lights.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested and is currently in custody at Reading police station, a spokesman said.
Neighbourhood support officer, Pc Dave Bright, from Thames Valley Police, said: "We rely on community intelligence for raids such as this, so if anyone has any information about drug supply in their area I would urge them to contact us urgently."
