Liz Longhurst will be handing over the report on Wednesday

Amnesty International said its "damning" report will highlight "the government's failure to protect women".

Liz Longhurst, from Reading, Berks, whose daughter Jane was murdered, will be among those handing over the report to Downing Street on Wednesday.

It will come on the same day her petition against internet pornography is presented to the House of Commons.

Mrs Longhurst, 74, whose daughter was killed by porn-obsessed Graham Coutts in Hove, told the BBC News website: "The Amnesty campaign is about violence against women.

"Obviously my daughter was murdered by somebody who was violent against her so she is very much part of that."

She will be accompanied by Frank Mullane, from Swindon, Wiltshire, whose sister - Julia Pemberton - was shot by her husband in Hermitage, Berkshire.

Mr Mullane said: "We just feel that we have to use our experience to drive change, step change not gradual change.

"I know that the Government is making changes but I think all victims of any form of violence want to see step change."

Carol Faruqui, whose daughter Rana, 35, was killed by a stalker in a field near Burnham, Buckinghamshire, will also attend.

Wednesday will see the formation of a new "End Violence Against Women" coalition of campaign groups.
