Shiny paint used in graffiti war
A town is stepping up its war against graffiti and illegal fly-posting by covering badly affected areas in a special shiny paint.

The formula, which will be used across Slough, contains a special gloss that means graffiti only sits on the surface, making it easy to wipe off.

It is also very difficult to stick things to.

A spokesman said: "This new paint will prevent this environmental problem and help keep Slough cleaner and tidier."

She continued: "Fly-posting and graffiti are a blight on our neighbourhoods and encourage other types of anti-social behaviour and vandalism."
