More than 100 illegal cars on Berkshire's streets have been clamped and towed away following a week-long crackdown on tax dodgers. Thames Valley police DVLA officials swooped on vehicles across Bracknell Forest including Great Hollands, Bullbrook and Priestwood.
Community beat officers from Bracknell also assisted in the operation.
Sgt Michelle Kneale said: "Abandoned and untaxed vehicles tend to be a magnet for theft, damage and arson."

She added: "They are not only dangerous due to their condition but also attract people to the area.
"Vandalism starts with the vehicle but then tends to spread from the vehicle to the surrounding area."
John Moore, DVLA's enforcement manager, said: "There is a strong link between untaxed vehicles, motoring offences, anti-social behaviour and crime.
"These vehicles are also a serious threat to road safety.
"Honest motorists who regularly pay their road tax are fed up with seeing this hard core continually getting away with it."
