Firefighter
It is now illegal to set off fireworks between 11pm and 7am.
Two homes were evacuated after youths set off fireworks near a gas main in Reading.

Residents were led to safety from Holberton Road, Whitely, after emergency services were called in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

An outhouse had caught fire along with a small section of gas main.

Insp Mick Osborne, of Reading police, said: "This incident caused distress and discomfort to several people and tied up valuable resources."
