Thousands of people turned out to Sunday's event |
Organisers of Berkshire's first gay pride festival say they are looking to run an even bigger event next year. Sunday's free council-backed event saw a host of bands, performers, club nights and market stalls at King's Meadow in Reading.
Four gay couples also took part in special commitment ceremonies - similar to weddings - as part of the festival.
Entertainments manager Jamie Wake called the event "a roaring success", that they want to repeat in 2005.
