Arrests made after police raid estate
Six people have been arrested following a major police drugs operation which shut down an estate in Reading.

Around 50 officers, including armed police, sealed off the Coley Park estate shortly after 1800 BST as part of Operation Wreck.

They raided seven properties seizing what is believed to be crack cocaine and cannabis.

Four men, aged 16, 17, 18 and 19, and two girls, aged 15 and 17, were detained on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply and handling stolen goods. They are now in custody.

Acting Inspector Dave Arnold, who led the operation, said: "Certainly the justification for our warrants would appear to be justified here.

"We are also supporting the community. There is the fear of crime aspect, there is the associated anti-social issues and the crime that is associated with the area."

Suspected stolen property, including a number of bicycles, have also been recovered by police.
