Man admits disorder at Luton Town game

A 37-year-old man has pleaded guilty to a public order offence during a pitch invasion by football fans after Luton Town's defeat to York City.

Anders Johansen, of Drobak, Norway, appeared at Luton and South Bedfordshire Magistrates Court and admitted violent disorder.

He will be sentenced at Luton Crown Court later this month.

Police said the trouble appeared to begin when Luton fans went on to the pitch at Kenilworth Road on Monday.

York's win means Luton will play another season of non-league football.

Six other people arrested in connection with the incident have been bailed pending further inquiries.
