Nine schoolboys arrested in connection with a racist chant made at a Jewish teacher's leaving party in Hertfordshire will not be prosecuted. The schoolboys were allegedly filmed making the football chant as technology assistant David Appleman left Chauncy School, in Ware, last December.
The video was later posted on the Youtube website.
The nine boys, aged 15 and 16, were arrested following an allegation of anti-Semitism by Mr Appleman.
The Crown Prosecution Service said it had decided not to bring charges against the boys.
In a statement Hertfordshire Police said: "We take allegations and reports of this nature seriously and we believe the arrest of nine pupils from the school in connection with the allegations was justified.
"The decision to not prosecute the pupils has been made by the Crown Prosecution Service at the highest level following files being submitted to them from Hertfordshire Constabulary.
"The decision to not prosecute has also been endorsed by the Director of Public Prosecutions Sir Ken Mc Donald."
