Mr Beer "made his mark on the world", his family said |
The family of a 22-year-old man who died in last week's London bombings have paid tribute to a "fun-loving and colourful" character. Hair stylist Phil Beer was killed on the Piccadilly line Tube blast near Russell Square.
Mr Beer, of Borehamwood, Herts, died as he travelled to work in Knightsbridge.
Describing him as larger than life, his family said he had brought them "so much happiness", and his loss had left them feeling empty.
Mr Beer lived with his parents Kim and Phil, both 47, and had four sisters, Michelle, 25, Stacy 24, Angelina, 15 and one-year-old Lilymay.

In a statement, the family said: "You would meet him once and never forget him. He had so many friends who are just as shocked and saddened by his death.
"He was into dance music and spent some of his free time chatting and laughing with his two best friends Pat and Vincent. Pat was with Phil on the train on that tragic day, but thankfully he survived.
"His loss has left us feeling very empty and we miss his infectious loud laugh.
"He was so loving to everyone, even though he'd drive us all mad at times! You could be so angry with him but he would always win you over and you'd quickly forgive him.
"He made his mark on the world and brought us so much happiness and he will never be forgotten by hundreds of people."
Mr Beer's family has requested that mourners wear bright colours on the day of his funeral to reflect his personality.
He was travelling with his friend Patrick Barnes, 22, who survived the
explosion and is currently recovering with severe burns and tendon damage.
