| Plans to build nearly 300 new homes on the grounds of Bletchley Park have been approved by the Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott. The development at the World War II intelligence centre includes a 34-bed unit for the elderly. But the plans were agreed subject to conditions which include improved public transport and a survey of protected species within the site. The Milton Keynes' park became famous for cracking the Enigma code.
