'Nightmare' pair told to behave
Bernadette St James
Bernadette St James had no comment to make on Wednesday
A husband and wife, branded neighbours from hell, have been told to behave or face going to jail.

Neighbours of Bernadette and David St James on the Bradwell Common Estate in Milton Keynes claim their lives have been ruined by their behaviour.

The couple have been issued with anti-social behaviour orders for the next five years.

They have also been told they must not engage in any abusive or threatening behaviour in their home town.

The move came after the couple's persistent threatening and abusive behaviour had caused distress to their neighbours in Wisley Avenue.

Neighbours have caught some of the confrontations on video
Many have had CCTV installed and captured some of the couple's behaviour on video.

One neighbour, Karen Akers, said: "It made me feel I couldn't even go and sit in the back garden in the summer time because we don't know where she is going to start again and give us more abuse."

On Wednesday the couple, who accepted the orders offering no defence, had no comment.

Milton Keynes Council and Thames Valley Police had gathered evidence on the couple's behaviour and taken statements from local people.
