Five released without charge
Sophie Ksher
Sophie Ksher was believed to have taken three ecstasy tablets
Five people who were arrested following the death of a teenage girl who took ecstasy at an illegal rave have been released without charge.

Sophie Ksher, 16, died a week after the rave at a disused factory in Cressex, High Wycombe, on 31 January.

She had fallen during the night out, hit her head and ended up in a coma.

Two from the High Wycombe and Stokenchurch area of Buckinghamshire and three from Hertfordshire, arrested on Wednesday were released on Thursday.

Sophie's death sparked an appeal by her family to find the organisers of the event and the dealer who supplied her with ecstasy.

Further arrests

Officers said the teenager, from Arlesey in Bedfordshire, was briefly knocked unconscious after hitting her head but later seemed fine when talking to paramedics.

It was in hospital that her condition deteriorated and she fell into a coma.

Det Insp Philip Chandler, who is leading the investigation for Thames Valley Police, has vowed that the rave organisers would face legal action.

"Further arrests are anticipated," he said.

"We have received a number of calls giving us information, however, we still need more.

"I would ask anyone who was at the rave and knows who the organisers were or anything about drugs being supplied at the rave to contact police."

Sophie, who had taken three ecstasy tablets, died on 6 February.
