TT riders airlifted to hospital

Members of the leading sidecar team in one of the Isle of Man's TT races have been airlifted to hospital.

Nick Crowe and Mark Cox were transported by air ambulance after an accident in the Ballacobb area of the course.

They were competing in the Sidecar 2 Race which had been delayed from its original starting time because of the wet weather.

They have been taken to Noble's Hospital for treatment.
