Four arrested in raid on brothel
Four people have been arrested following a raid by 30 police officers on a suspected brothel in Bedfordshire.

The early-morning operation between the Metropolitan and Bedfordshire forces took place in New Bedford Road, Luton.

A 43-year-old man from North London and two men - aged 25 and 44 from Luton - were held on suspicion of controlling prostitution and trafficking in the UK.

A Polish woman was also arrested by Bedfordshire officers on suspicion of assisting in the running of a brothel.

She was also arrested on suspicion on possessing five stun guns, and possession of cannabis.

The arrests were part of the national Pentameter Two operation which aims to rescue and protect victims of human trafficking.
