A man from East Yorkshire accused of four offences under the Terrorism Act will face a trial at the Old Bailey. Martin Gilleard, 31, from Goole, was charged with possession of material for terrorist purposes and collection of information useful to a terrorist.
He was also charged with possession of live ammunition and preparation of terrorist acts.
City of Westminster Magistrates' Court ruled Mr Gilleard will appear before the Old Bailey on 23 November.
Police cordoned off an area in central Goole on Wednesday last week while they searched a property, where they found potentially explosive material.
Mr Gilleard was arrested in Dundee on Saturday.
A second man, also 31 and from Goole, who was arrested on suspicion of terror offences, was released without charge on Monday.
