The M6 remains one of the most congested motorways in the UK, according to a new survey. The stretches of motorway between Bedworth and Cannock and between Cannock and Warrington are the fourth and fifth worst, said Trafficmaster.

Ongoing roadworks were responsible for the worst traffic jams in the country between junction six and junction 11 of the M1.
'Alternative routes'
The second and third worst spots were between junctions nine and 20 of the M25 and between junction 21 and junction 28 of the same motorway.
Trafficmaster said the report also highlighted the value of using alternative routes.
The best one in the country was Manchester to Leeds using the M62 rather than the A628, with drivers saving two hours 25 minutes a week.
The survey was carried out by Trafficmaster and the RAC Foundation.
Trafficmaster spokesman Philip Hale said: "Our report shows that congestion is a nationwide problem and is still on the increase.
"The first step in reducing the problem is identifying and avoiding it.
"In our experience, you can use alternative routes to literally save hours - and we've proved it in our virtual driver test."
