A campaign has been launched to encourage people to find out if their home is at risk of flooding. The Environment Agency is publishing its Floodline number on taxis which will be used in Cambs and Norwich.
The Floodline taxi will be launched in Peterborough on 25 April and in Norwich on 27 April.
The taxi campaign will be running for 12 months and several buses will also be travelling around the Peterborough area advertising the Floodline number.
The Agency's David Young said: "Having your home flooded is an awful thing to happen to anyone, but if you are prepared that it could happen, you can prevent losing some of your most valued possessions and recover from the flood a little faster."
People can find out if they are in a flood-risk area by calling the Floodline on 0845 9881188 or visiting the Environment Agency website.
They can then register to receive flood warnings direct to their home, work or mobile phone.
