Apprentice stars Michelle Dewberry and Syed Ahmed have put their relationship "on hold" following the loss of their unborn baby. The pair met last year while battling for a �100,000-a-year job with Sir Alan Sugar in the BBC Two reality TV show.
Apprentice winner Michelle, 26, from Hull, suffered a miscarriage after being taken to hospital last month.
The baby's father Syed, 32, said: "We have got to the point where staying together is causing more problems."
He told a magazine it was almost as though they had lost something more than a baby. They had lost a part of their chemistry too.
Their relationship had just been put on hold. He still had strong feelings for Michelle, he said.
