Power cut causes commuter delays
Rail commuters faced severe delays after trees fell onto overhead power lines, causing a power cut.

Services were disrupted on the East Coast Main Line from midday on Friday after trees came down between Peterborough and Grantham.

A Network Rail spokesman said only one track on the affected stretch remained open while repair work is carried out.

The line links London and Edinburgh via the East of England, Yorkshire, North East England and the Scottish Borders.
