Electricity safety truck launched
Children in the East Midlands are being given lessons on electricity and safety inside a new vehicle.

Electricity firm Central Networks has launched the Power Discovery Truck that contains games, videos and a play area.

Staff hope activities, which include making an electrical circuit, will make children more safety conscious.

Emily Highmore from Central Networks said: "This new truck allows Central Networks to communicate serious messages in a fun environment."

Ms Highmore said visiting the truck would make a "great day out".

"They can play games there, identify hazards, they can watch a safety video, they can also build an electrical circuit with lots of buzzers and lights and lots of things like that," she added.
