Train operator plans 25m upgrade
Upgraded standard class carriage
The carriages will include improved access for people with disabilities
The region's train operator One plans to invest 25m in upgrading the rolling stock on its Norwich to London line.

The company's improvements include replacing older carriages with 110 modern coaches and better access for people with disabilities.

A One spokesperson said the carriages would provide passengers with a "smoother, more comfortable ride".

The first fully upgraded set of carriages is expected to enter service later this summer.

The Norwich to London mainline operates between Ipswich and Colchester.
