An aunt and her niece have been given a cheque for 1.2 million by their favourite footballer after winning the National Lottery. Diane Cartwright, 58, and her niece Angela Painter, 35, both from Lutterworth, Leicestershire, are keen football fans.
They both support Leicester City Football Club and were thrilled to be presented with the cheque by the team's striker Paul Dickov at the team's Walkers Stadium.
The pair won the 1,250,241 top prize after guessing all six numbers correctly in last Saturday's draw.
They had been buying two lines since the lottery, now named the Lotto, began.
The women, who are both factory packers, have said they will use the windfall to splash out and treat themselves and their families.

Both said Leicester City season tickets were at the top of their shopping lists. Mother-of-five Mrs Cartwright said she planned to buy a Ford Mondeo for her husband Alan, 53.
"I didn't believe it because things like that don't happen to me," she said.
Mrs Painter said she had "lots of plans" including paying off her mortgage, buying a new car, taking a holiday and doing lots of shopping.
The winning numbers were 5,15, 21, 33, 35 and 42.
They were selected out of a combination of birthdays and house numbers.
