Travellers told to leave site
Traveller families at Bulkington
The travellers built on the land without planning permission
About 200 travellers have been ordered to move from green belt land in Warwickshire.

The group of 35 families built roads and footpaths on the plot at Bulkington, but had not secured planning permission to do so.

Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council ruled that the travellers had to leave the land on Thursday.

That decision was upheld at the High Court last December and the group was given three months to vacate the plot, which they have lived on for two years.

They were also prevented from appealing against the decision to evict them.

The travellers had claimed that a lack of suitable sites left them no alternative but to build on the land.
