The Duke of York was in Cornwall on Friday to officially open the National Maritime Museum in Falmouth. It was the final chapter in the launching of the museum, which has taken years to develop.
The site on Falmouth's waterfront was an area of flat land five years ago.
It now boasts a major attraction which has already drawn more than 100,000 people since opening in December.

Prince Andrew was greeted by local school children and toured the galleries before declaring the museum officially open. He was also challenged to a boat race, using the museum's radio-controlled model sailing boats.
His challenger was Robin Knox-Johnston, the first yachtsman to sail non-stop round the world.
The prince took a particular interest in the exhibits, having dedicated himself to a career in the Royal Navy and been based for a time at RNAS Culdrose.
The duke is not the first royal to set foot in the building, last year the Queen visited the site to mark the start of her Jubilee tour.
