'Noisy students' caught on CD
CD of singing and shouting
Singing and shouting noises are captured on the CD
Residents have produced a CD of noisy students from Loughborough University to back up their campaign against student accommodation being built near their homes.

A public inquiry will open on Tuesday into plans by developers for a 200-bed accommodation block in Ashby Road.

The proposals were rejected by Charnwood Borough Council last year.

People living nearby have campaigned against the proposals and made a CD of more than 50 noises such as shouting and singing reportedly made by students.

No final decision will be made on the future of the site until the evidence from the inquiry has been properly considered.
