Prisoner caught after 10 years
 Forrester was arrested in St Helier | A man who escaped from prison a decade ago has been arrested in Jersey. John Forrester, 57, escaped from Wellingborough Prison in Northamptonshire in 1993 and has been on the run ever since. He was stopped as part of routine checks at St Helier harbour at 0830 GMT on Wednesday. Forrester was found guilty of serious drugs charges in 1990 and sentenced to 12 years in prison. He was arrested as part of checks by police and customs officers as he arrived by ferry from St Malo in France.
