| Monday, 10 February, 2003, 07:54 GMT Inquiry after tram crash death ![]() The accident happened on a level crossing The family of a man who was killed when his car was involved in a collision with a Midland Metro tram, say they are considering legal action. Jugesh Kainth, from Wolverhampton, died instantly following the incident on a level crossing near the Priestfield station car park in Bilston, Wolverhampton, on Saturday. The 25-year-old, whose wife is expecting their second child, had just dropped some friends off. He was due to start a new job as a security guard on Monday.
Charandass Kainth, Mr Kainth's uncle, said: "We just want to see justice. "We want something done about this so it doesn't happen again." A spokesman for Midland Metro say the track where the accident happened is safe. An inquiry into the crash and the safety of the junction is being conducted by British Transport Police who will be examining the tram's black box recorder.
