Mystery over Manilow woman
Barry Manilow
The woman was carrying some of the singer's records
Police are trying to identify a woman who has been admitted to a Lincolnshire hospital and thinks her name is Barry Manilow.

The woman was admitted to Lincoln County Hospital last Saturday carrying a number of the singer's records.

It is believed she could be missing from elsewhere in the country.

However, staff at the hospital and police have so far failed to find out who she is.

Pink scarf

She was admitted to the Peter Hodgkinson Centre following an incident at Middle Rasen.

A number of organisations which deal with missing people have been contacted, but they have no record of the woman.

Police said she seemed familiar with the Market Rasen and Binbrook areas and also spoke of Gloucester.

Shrill voice

She is described as white, around 60-years-old, and of medium build.

She is 5ft 4ins tall and has a ruddy complexion, receding white hair and a shrill voice.

When she was found, she was wearing a turban and had a pink scarf wrapped around her head.
