| Friday, 20 December, 2002, 06:29 GMT easyJet launches new Liverpool flights ![]() easyJet already has a strong presence in Liverpool Budget airline easyJet has announced a string of new flights from Liverpool. The news is being seen as a boost for the city's John Lennon Airport, which already has a strong easyJet presence. The firm is introducing a new flight to Alicante for people travelling to Spain's Costa Brava. It is also increasing its service to the Costa del Sol by introducing a third daily flight to Malaga. From spring 2003, passengers travelling to both Majorca and Nice will have a choice of two flights rather than one a day.
