Nathan Shaw died in hospital
An 18-year-old man has been remanded in custody charged with the murder of a young football supporter.

Andrew McNee, of Haslingden, Lancashire, is accused of killing 17-year-old Nathan Shaw, of Aspley, Nottinghamshire.

The Nottingham Forest fan was seriously injured in an incident in Burnley town centre before the match on Saturday.

He died in hospital just the next morning.

Mr McNee appeared before Burnley magistrates on Wednesday.

He was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on 18 December.
