| Sunday, 8 December, 2002, 10:08 GMT Women face breast screen delays ![]() Women should have a breast scan every three years Women in east Devon are facing waits of up to 11 months for breast screening. The Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital said it has only one consultant working at the moment when it should have three. Two new radiologists are due to be appointed from abroad but the hospital has said it cannot say exactly when they will be arriving. It is hoped the extra staff will begin work early in the New Year.
