Nine fans get life bans
Britannia Stadium
The men must no longer go to the Britannia Stadium
Nine men who pleaded guilty to racist chanting at Stoke City football ground have been banned from the Britannia Stadium for life.

On Monday, Stoke magistrates imposed court orders stopping them from entering all football stadiums for three years.

The men had admitted racist chanting during a home match against Wolverhampton Wanderers in October.

Stoke's chief executive Jonathan Fuller confirmed the club's own indefinite ban on Wednesday.

He said: "They breached our code of supporters' conduct which forbids racist chanting at the Britannia Stadium and a life ban from the club is therefore automatic."

    The banned men
  • Craig David Meakin, 18, from Fenton
  • Paul David Warren, 18, from Western Coyney
  • Robert Paul Warren, 30, from Meir Hay
  • Martin Broome, 19, from West End, Stoke
  • Neil Anthony Ellerton, 28, from Bidulph Moor
  • Stephen Peter Flatley, 24, from Biddulph
  • Simon Peter Locker, 20, from Penkhull
  • Adam Breed, 26, from New Farningley, Leeds
  • Stefan Gerrard Rduch, 18, from Butterton
