| Monday, 7 October, 2002, 20:03 GMT 21:03 UK New cameras to cut crime ![]() Businesses have paid for the new cameras Businesses on an industrial estate on Teesside are hoping a new surveillance system will help prevent crime. The Cowpen Lane industrial estate in Billingham unveiled its new CCTV cameras on Monday. The revamp of their previous system was made possible with money contributed by businesses based on the estate and cash from Stockton District Council.
