Tributes after teacher dies
Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln
Jason Blenkinsop had studied at a Lincoln college
Tributes are being paid to a young teacher who collapsed and died at a Lincolnshire primary school.

Jason Blenkinsop, 28, was one month into his first teaching post when he died before lessons on Monday.

He had started at Dunholme St Chad's Church of England Primary School near Lincoln last month.

Pupils returned to the school on Tuesday after being sent home on Monday.

Mr Blenkinsop had graduated from Bishop Grosseteste College in Lincoln.

The principal of Bishop Grosseteste College, Dr Eileen Baker, said Mr Blenkinsop was extremely well liked, had great potential as a teacher and was looking forward to his new job.

She added her thoughts were with his family, colleagues and pupils at the school.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and a post-mortem examination was being carried out to find out how he died.
