Officers want to help the families of Jessica and Holly
Four policemen are to visit every football league ground in England and Wales to raise money for the families of Soham schoolgirls Holly Wells and Jessica Chapman.

The officers, who all work for Cambridgeshire Police, are to visit all 92 league clubs during October to raise money for a trust fund.

Their tour will last for four days - starting on 3 October.

They will visit more than 15 grounds a day starting at Peterborough and finishing at Old Trafford, when Manchester United entertain Everton.

Memorabilia auctioned

All four officers worked on the Soham investigation into the killings, and said they wanted to do something to help the girls' families.

Pc Phil Enderby, 39, one of the officers taking part, said: "We are all fathers and we have all been affected by the case.

"We were keen to do something positive to help the whole of the community and felt this was a fitting way to do it."

The officers will collect donations as they visit each ground and pick up football memorabilia from each club which they will then auction.
