| Friday, 20 September, 2002, 11:18 GMT 12:18 UK Safety scheme for bypass ![]() New warning signs will be placed on the bypass A scheme to cut the number of accidents on the A12 in Essex has been announced by the Highways Agency. It follows a study, commissioned by the government, to find ways of preventing accidents on the Kelvedon Bypass. A spokesman for the Highways Agency said it will install new warning signs, indicating possible queues on the carriageway and sharp bends in the road.
