| Monday, 16 September, 2002, 13:54 GMT 14:54 UK New ferry service launched ![]() There will be daily crossings between the two ports A new roll-on roll-off ferry service linking the UK to the Netherlands is making its first voyage on Monday. Stena Line will operate daily crossings between Harwich in Essex and Rotterdam. Three ships - the Freeway, Ideway and Flanders - have been taken on for the new route.
