| | Thursday, 12 September, 2002, 07:18 GMT 08:18 UK Lifeboat crew welcomes Seahorse IV  The new boat can reach speeds of 32 knots The latest - and fastest - lifeboat on the Norfolk coast is being officially named on Thursday. The Great Yarmouth and Gorleston crew will name the inshore lifeboat Seahorse IV, at a special ceremony. The Atlantic 75 vessel is capable of speeds of 32 knots.
Ivor Steadman of the station told BBC Radio Norfolk the new boat would mean a better service. "This new lifeboat is a lot larger than the last one they had, and quite fast. "They can get to wherever the casualty is far quicker and get the person out of the water." There has been a lifeboat at Great Yarmouth since 1825.
