Man used library for child porn
Nottingham Crown Court
Lucas admitted four charges at Nottingham Crown Court
A man has admitted downloading child pornography during internet sessions at a local library.

Alan Lucas used his local library in West Bridgford to look at pornography on the internet.

He downloaded files and hid them in directories, Nottingham Crown Court heard on Thursday.

The 21-year-old pleaded guilty to four charges of making indecent photographs of children and will be sentenced at a later date.

Trap laid

Lucas, from Leybourne Drive, Bestwood in Nottingham, has been remanded in custody.

The court heard the man was living in Musters Road in West Bridgford when he booked a number of sessions at the local Library.

He downloaded material from the internet and hid it in directories he had set up.

The files were discovered when a computer was taken away for repair.

Forty still images and a number of short moving pictures all involving children were found.

Lucas was arrested after a trap was laid to catch him in the act.

Other images were found at his home, following a search.

No date for sentencing has been fixed.
