Ice magic for Queen's jubilee
National Ice Arena
The ice arena will be opened by the Queen
An ice show choreographed by skating legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean is being put on for the Queen.

Joined by Prince Phillip, she will officially open the National Ice Arena in Nottingham before watching the show on Wednesday evening.

The royal couple are due to arrive by train in Nottingham having earlier visited a mosque in Scunthorpe.

The latest leg of the Queen's Jubilee Tour was also scheduled to take in Leicester and Derby on Thursday.

The Queen will visit a Sikh temple
In the morning the royal couple will walk around Leicester city centre.

They will then split as the Queen goes to the Guru Nanak Gurdhwara, a Sikh temple.

Prince Phillip will then meet up with her to go to the National Space Centre, which opened last year.

They are then due to travel to Derby County Football Club's Pride Park for a Jubilee display.

Dancers, singers and gymnasts will take part in the display, which will end with a new song for the Queen being sung by 2,000 people.

Members of the football club's two championship-winning sides will also take part in the afternoon parade.
