Hut goes on market for 60,000
The Cabin is on the market for 59,950
The Cabin in Sidford measures just 15ft by 10ft
A wood and brick hut which has been converted into a tiny home has been put up for sale in the Devonshire town of Sidford at a cost of 59,950.

The 15ft by 10ft home - a former fish and grocery store - has already been viewed by several potential buyers, but there have been no offers yet.

The hut, named The Cabin, was converted into a home about 18 months ago in an area of the country where property prices have rocketed 20% in the last year.

The property has one main room with a kitchenette and shower extension.

Upstairs there is a mezzanine bedroom just 4ft high at its tallest point.

Colin Moorehouse, of Redferns estate agents, described the Cabin as "a bargain".

"The current tenant is a man over six feet tall who says he is very comfortable there.

"I feel fairly confident we will sell it. It is quite an attractive property and quite an unusual little home.

"It is very nicely done, with a lot of interesting features including stripped pine. It is a bargain."
