| Saturday, 20 April, 2002, 17:26 GMT 18:26 UK Stadium appeal for missing Amanda ![]() Amanda disappeared on the way home from school Volunteers helping the hunt for missing teenager Amanda Dowler have been handing out leaflets to football fans. They were being given out at the matches between Chelsea and Manchester United and Southampton and Everton on Saturday to try to jog people's memories. Posters publicising the search for the 13-year-old also appeared in match programmes and at the grounds. Amanda, who is known as Milly, disappeared on 21 March as she set off from Walton-on-Thames station in Surrey for the short walk home.
A police spokesman said: "In addition, approximately 3,000 calls have been received in the incident room. "Surrey Police have spoken to more than 80 of Milly's friends and family members."
