Friends of the Dowler family are also hoping pictures of Amanda will be placed on the large screen at several football stadiums in London and the south during this weekend's matches.

Rob Chandler, who has worked with Amanda's father Bob for 10 years, told BBC News Online that their aim was to make sure the teenager's disappearance remained in the public eye.

"We will be handing out the leaflets to people coming in from Woking and Walton, and those going home.

"We will also be wearing t-shirts carrying details of Amanda's disappearance."

Mr Chandler said six colleagues of her father Bob were hoping to hand out the leaflets at the station between 1600 and 1800 BST on Thursday.

"It is a case of doing whatever we can to help in the search for Milly and there might just be one person whose memory will be jogged, or someone will come forward," he said.

He said Chelsea Football Club had agreed to put pictures of Amanda on their stadium screens during Saturday's match against Manchester United.

Mr Chandler said the Dowler family were living day-by-day as they tried to cope with their ordeal.

"After four weeks they are going to keep going on, because it doesn't bear thinking about anything else.

"I've been speaking to them regularly and they're coping with it together.

"But it must be an especially tough time for Amanda's sister Gemma, with things like exams coming up."

In the weeks since Amanda went missing, Surrey police has spoken to more than 3,000 people, and recorded 350 statements.
