George Michael lost his �80,000 car in the raid
George Michael's �3m home in West London has been ransacked by a gang of thieves.

The burglars stole hundreds of thousands of pounds worth of property from the pop star's house in Hampstead.

It is the believed the thieves also drove off in the singer's �80,000 Aston Martin DB7 car.

It is understood that the gang caused �200,000 worth of damage to the house.

Scotland Yard said officers were called to the property on Wednesday, 13 February.

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Police were called at 0900 GMT on Wednesday 13 February to reports of a stolen vehicle.

"Following subsequent inquiries police attended an address in Hampstead and that was discovered to be the scene of a burglary.

"We are still awaiting a formal statement from the victim.

"There have been no arrests and inquiries are continuing," she said.
